Klaas Breur Travel Grant
The Dutch Radiation Society for Radiobiology (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Radiobiologie, NVRB) has every year some travel grants available from the Klaas Breur Fund. Young investigators, PhD students or Postdocs who are employed at a Dutch College, University or Research Institute and also member of the NVRB can apply for a travel grant of €500 for a European congress or €750 for a congress outside Europe. Applications have to be related to scientific meetings with a clear focus on mechanistic effects of ionising radiation cq Radiobiology. These applications can be submitted throughout the year. The NVRB board members will judge the applications. Important criteria are scientific originality of the research and quality of the submitted abstract. Members are allowed to apply for travel grant twice.
